My Biography
Paul initially trained as a Clinical Audiological Scientist in the NHS, following his MSc in Audiology. He became a paediatric audiologist and specialised in assessing hearing loss in infants and children and in providing hearing solutions for them. He then moved into Higher Education and taught on the Audiology degree course at Leeds University. With several research publications and contributions to national and international conferences, Paul has a thorough understanding of both theory and practical issues relating to hear care. With over 25 years’ experience in the Audiology sector, Paul has seen a diverse range of both adults and children over the years. His practice in North Leeds aims to provide a relaxed, calming environment in which to provide expert hearcare to his local community and beyond. With a full range of diagnostic tests at his disposal, he is able to investigate not only wax issues, but all types of hearing problems. His experience working with children is particularly useful when assessing both wax and glue ear issues.
