My Biography
Kent Hearing is a private hearing practice providing a comprehensive range of hearing assessment and management solutions for children and adults. We also provide a range of consultative and educational services in Audiology to hospitals, universities and other commercial, clinical and educational establishments in the UK and globally. The practice is run by Dr Priya Carling, who has over 20 years’ experience in clinical audiology, leadership in Audiology and higher education. Priya trained as a Speech-language Therapist and Audiologist in South Africa and completed her AuD through an American University in Florida. She has spent the last 17 years working in both the NHS and the private medical sector as Head of Service. She was Head of Neurophysiology, Speech Therapy and Audiology at the Bupa Cromwell Hospital in London, and has spent the last 7 years at UCL’s Ear Institute as Director of Education and a Principle Investigator.
